The Old Faithful Inn opened its doors in 1904, near the Old Faithful geyser in the heart of Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.

This icon does not need presentation, for more than a century, this huge record set and building a wooden frame (believed to be the largest log building in the world) has influenced and inspired the construction of all national park lodges that followed.

This massive log structure is nearly 700 feet long and rises seven stories high at its center. The central part also known as the Old House is the first thing you notice upon arrival. Its imposing steep gabled roof is cut through three stories of dormer roof crowned with a rooster nest observation in his heyday.

The Old Faithful Inn has a huge roof that makes six of the seven stories in the main building and field house contains one of the most striking interior spaces and historically recognized anywhere in the world.

The great hall towers Input more than ninety feet on the ceiling. A forest of exposed post and beam timber roof supports massive set up and create an unforgettable cathedral of open space in the lobby. Multiple levels of interior balconies with balustrades rustic handmade trunks and branches covering the room, providing a broad view of the large hall.

A monumental stone fireplace adorned with five square meters and anchoring a huge bronze wrought iron clock in the room. This is, without doubt, the "queen" of all national park lodges. The skill and determination of hundreds of craftsmen who built this majestic hotel after natural stone and wood collected the boundaries of the park is evident everywhere you look.

Customers can view the historic Old Faithful Geyser erupting from the comfort of a large porch on the second floor, accessible from an interior balcony. The Great Hall also serves as a central base for customers to access the expansion of three and a half floors wing additions or dining room and lounge impressive.

The area around the giant fireplace in the lobby is furnished with historic mission, Rustic hickory chairs, rocking chairs, upholstered sofas, chairs, tables covered with old leather.

This large space is a memorable place to relax and admire the extent and magnitude of this historic building truly great. Hand in hand the works of Native American and Western art along with unique iron chandeliers and copper are everywhere you look.

The Old Faithful Inn, was the first national park lodge built in the United States. Yellowstone National Park was the first designated national park not only in America but the world.

Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park is the largest and busiest of its kind anywhere in the world. This grand old flag really fits the context of their historical park. Both are large in size and filled with the same characteristics only to see and explore. This National Historical Park and the historic park lodge is that they will never be forgotten once the experience.

The Old Faithful Inn has many rooms, and the choices of room available.

Suites: Semi-suites, first class rooms and rooms of high range: All are well furnished and have a choice of queen or twin beds, until you reach one queen or two double beds with private bathroom, bathtub, shower, sink and toilet.

mid-range rooms: Are you comfortable with one or two queen beds with a private room, bathroom, sink and toilet.

Rooms with bath-out: Rustic single rooms with queen size bed or two beds, a sink with hot and cold water. Shared bathrooms and showers are down the hall.

Accessible rooms: Are beautiful rooms with a queen size bed and privet bath. The baths have hose fittings shower, washbasins and toilets are equipped with all access handrails. These rooms are located on the first floor.

The Old Faithful Inn is open seasonally from mid May to mid-October.
