About this Release
This is a review of a book on the history of America was antiquarian who is a brief biography Life of Abraham Lincoln, created especially for the young to read. This is an abridged version of the ebook, and improved to include the original text and illustrations, plus additional images and additional photos, and music.
The original version, printed in this book is a hardcover book of good quality printed in large print format for easy reading. The book includes approximately 144 pages of text with associated images. There are about 60 images, most of whom are black and white images, however there are also color plates. The presentation, editing and production is faultless, a program modern word processing could not have done better.
The original content has been improved and complemented with other pictures and photographs of the time and a selection of music from the civil war. The images are associated with the text, and can be enlarged for better viewing, and can also be seen as slideshows. This version also includes a selection of period music, and the Civil War.
While the printed version antiquarian book is rare, and out of print, can be found, especially on the Internet, the purchase price depends on the condition of the book. Since this book was More than one hundred years, even one in good condition will be a bit delicate and easily damaged. Often books of this age are not really suitable for normal, everyday act of reading because reading may be damaged. Even so, it is still possible to find a printed version of the book and are very readable if the book is in good condition.
Obviously, the downside of reading this ebook is the version that you need a PC to read. It is difficult to curl-up in your favorite chair and read an eBook from a PC screen, (but not completely out of the question of whether you have a laptop). However, there is also a positive side to read an electronic book, you can listen to music from the Civil War and see images, and search the text, and print pages, etc, and will not be worn in a hundred years.
The author, Harriet Putnam, is also known for his work of art, and copies of their work You can view and buy online. The life of Abraham Lincoln includes five color prints that are popular among fans. Putnam also wrote another book Lives of the Presidents told in words of one syllable.

This book is unique in that the story is told in one syllable words. multisyllabic words are divided into their individual syllables
Written specifically for young people, text and grammar are aimed at younger readers, and each word is divided on it 's syllables. This is a great book for reading comprehension, pronunciation and practice reading aloud or silently.
By way of example, the following paragraph in the book, tells how the words are deliberately
divided into syllables
"The cabin, not much more than a cow-shed, on fa-therapy and moth-er, whose names, like Thom and Nan-cy, and their children, Sa-rah. These three were the first who saw the face boy's strange and sad, that when he became a man, was so great and good and such great things that everyone gave high praise to him ".
This book is a classic story of the life of Abraham Lincoln. "From his birth in a small little cabin, its legendary strength and honesty, and humor and compassion. It 's railway history Splitter, who worked hard to earn money and help his family, and spent their night studying and reading in the light of a fireplace to improve it.
The images are perfect for all young readers. Pictures of Lincoln as a fish that provide services to a soldier or see it as the Post Office, or an employee of the store, help young readers identify with Lincoln. His defense of the oppressed, and compassion for animals is well illustrated. This version includes a photograph of a replica of the small cabin where Lincoln was born what really shows how small the cabin was, the cabin all is not much bigger than most bedrooms.
These images have an impact on young people, images of Lincoln reading and studying the firelight, or rails, or read to your child, Tad, etc, are images that I still remember my own childhood.
The images needed to tell about the War Civil very tame. They carry the story without being graphic. The images are sketches mostly in black and white, with some images in color, there are some pictures actual data were collected from other sources, including a real image of Lincoln visit to Union troops.
Several of the music selections are songs of war Civil that are interpreted by an orchestra, in the original instrumentation, authentic and the style of the Civil War. They sound very much like
they did in 1865.
The story of Abraham Lincoln American history, history that anyone can achieve greatness, and make a difference, if you are honest and hardworking, and has the desire, everything Abraham Lincoln had.
Since this is an antiquarian work, the prose style and post-Victorian era in which it occurred, providing an outbreak determined and drama, which is not present in many modern biographies. Add a singularity that is nice and fun to read because it is very distant from our modern history was American.
This is a very good book for an exhibition of young people for the first time in the life of Abraham Lincoln.
